I believe therapy begins with a genuine human relationship. Every person has a unique story, shaped by their experiences, relationships, and the ways they have learned to manage life’s challenges. Rather than seeing distress as something that needs to be fixed, I see it as something to be genuinely understood with compassion and curiosity. My approach is grounded in person-centred counselling, where empathy, authenticity, and acceptance create a safe space for exploration. I don’t see myself as someone with all the answers, but as someone who walks alongside you offering support, reflection, and a steady presence as we make sense of your experiences together.Alongside this foundation, my practice is informed by trauma-informed thinking, attachment theory, and developmental neuroscience. Above all, I hope to offer a relationship in which you feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted, creating the conditions for growth, healing, and lasting change.I offer therapy face to face, online and outdoors for coastal walk and talks.

Hello, I’m Maggie and my pronouns are she/hers.

Starting therapy can feel like a daunting experience and sometimes words may feel they are not enough. Creativity and art can be a gentle way to enter a therapy journey.

I’m a friendly, compassionate, intuitive and grounded therapist. I’m a qualified MA Dramatherapist registered with HCPC – Health and Care Professionals Council and BADth – The British Association of Dramatherapists and I abide by these codes of conduct. I have over twenty years experience supporting adults and young people with various challenges  including people experiencing neurodiversity, inc. ABI/TBI; ADHD; Autism, (among others); learning disabilities; depression; anxiety; health challenges; bereavement; isolation; burnout; bereavement, among other challenges and life transitions.

I believe healing & change can happen within a therapy space that holds safety, creativity & trust. Would you like to create positive change? My sessions are collaborative; neurodiversity – diagnosed and undiagnosed & LGBTQIA+ affirming. My work is evidence-based, person-centered, trauma-informed and holistic. I work with each person’s preferences, needs and values with dignity, compassion & respect. I work relationally, which means that I place the quality and the value of our therapeutic relationship as paramount in our work together.

I offer face to face sessions, online and telephone sessions across the UK. I also have extended studies in nature therapy/ Ecotherapy. I offer 1-1 and group nature therapy sessions.

Please feel free to contact me if you’re interested in any of these options for yourself or for a loved one.

Clients don’t have to “be creative” or have creative skills or background to access sessions. The initial step may feel the most challenging, yet through collaborating together we can learn more about yourself & what may support you on your journey.

Sessions offer an inclusive, warm, playful, grounded, compassionate, trauma-informed & safe environment. I invite clients to have choice in the way we work together that feels comfortable & nourishing to support you to explore, express, release & find creative insight. My intention is to support you with tools for your life & emotional wellbeing.

Being an MA Creative Arts Psychotherapist – Dramatherapist means we can collaborate in a way that feels holistic & right for you, where you can explore, express and safely make sense of your internal world.

Please feel free to contact me to ask any questions you may have and/or to book an initial session free of charge.

I look forward to meeting with you.

Hi, I’m Madi, a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist specialising in supporting late-diagnosed neurodivergent women experiencing neurodivergent burnout, anxiety, overwhelm, stress, and a loss of confidence. My approach combines Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, neuroscience, and practical tools to help clients better understand how their brain works, reduce stress, build confidence, and develop strategies that work with their individual needs. Many of the people I support are those who appear to be coping well on the outside but privately feel exhausted, overwhelmed, stuck in cycles of overthinking, or disconnected from themselves. They may have spent years masking, pushing through, and trying to meet expectations that don’t always align with how their brain works.I believe therapy should feel supportive, relaxed, and tailored to you. My aim is not to help you become someone else or mask more effectively, but to help you understand yourself, embrace what makes you unique, and feel more confident living life in a way that works for you. Before becoming a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist, I worked as a primary school teacher supporting children and families. This experience continues to shape the way I work, helping me explain complex ideas in an accessible, practical way.I offer online Solution Focused Hypnotherapy sessions, supporting clients with neurodivergent burnout, anxiety, stress, overthinking, confidence, emotional wellbeing, and feeling more like themselves again.

I’m Rebecca Wilkinson, an integrative counsellor offering therapy in Plymouth and online across the UK. I work with adults who feel overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally exhausted, or like they’ve spent years trying to fit into a world that never quite made sense.I have lived experience of ADHD, having been diagnosed later in life. Like many late-diagnosed adults, I spent years wondering why things that seemed straightforward for other people often felt so much harder for me. Receiving a diagnosis didn’t change who I was, but it gave me a framework for understanding myself with more compassion. That experience continues to shape the way I work as a therapist. My approach is neurodivergent-affirming, collaborative, and tailored to you as an individual. I don’t believe therapy should be about trying to make you appear more neurotypical or teaching you to mask more effectively. Instead, it’s a space to explore your experiences, understand yourself more deeply, and find ways of living that work with your brain rather than constantly against it.Many of the people I work with have ADHD, are exploring whether they might be neurodivergent, or are navigating the impact of anxiety, burnout, emotional overwhelm, rejection sensitivity, people-pleasing, low self-esteem, or grief. Whether you’ve recently been diagnosed, have suspected for years that you’re neurodivergent, or simply know that life feels harder than it seems to for other people, you’re welcome.I offer therapy in person from my practice in Plymstock, Plymouth, and online throughout the UK. I aim to create a calm, accepting space where you don’t have to explain away your differences or hide parts of yourself. You can show up exactly as you are.

I am a late diagnosed, neurodivergent mother of two children and an accredited psychotherapist.I have been practicing for 13+ years in primary care talking therapies and private sector mental health. I am accredited by the BABCP and also practice Compassion Focused Therapy and EMDR. Since embarking on my own neurodivergent questioning journey six years ago, I have spent countless hours hyperfocusing and researching everything there is to know about neurodiversity and how best to adapt therapy to be neuro-affirming and effective. As a detail-oriented, creative thinker, who is able to spot patterns and relay information with clarity, I have successfully supported people within the neurodivergent community with developing self-acceptance, self-compassion and move towards living in alignment with their wants and needs.I support people throughout burnout, work-related stress, parental stress and overcoming a harsh inner critic. My stance is holistic, in that I acknowledge that our thoughts, our neurology, our hormones and our health contribute to our overall feelings of wellbeing. Together we will look to see how we can help you to find your rhythm and heal where needed.

I’m a CBT and EMDR trauma-informed therapist with 20 years of NHS and private practice experience, now working privately with adults who are navigating life with ADHD, late diagnosis, or neurodivergent identities. Many of my clients come to me exhausted, by masking, by systems that weren’t built for them, by finally getting a diagnosis and not knowing what to do with it. If that’s you, you’re in the right place. I specialise in working with late-diagnosed adults and women with ADHD, where the presentation is often tangled up with anxiety, burnout, emotional dysregulation, and long-standing patterns that CBT alone doesn’t always touch. I use schema-focused approaches alongside CBT and EMDR to work at that deeper level — not just managing symptoms, but understanding where they come from.I also have specific experience supporting people from Black and Minoritised Ethnic backgrounds, where cultural identity, intergenerational experience, and the added weight of navigating neurodivergent life as a person of colour are all part of the picture. That context isn’t a footnote in our work, it’s central to it. Therapy with me is collaborative, warm, and practically grounded. You’ll leave sessions with tools you can actually use, alongside a space where your full experience is respected and understood.
