I’m a CBT and EMDR trauma-informed therapist with 20 years of NHS and private practice experience, now working privately with adults who are navigating life with ADHD, late diagnosis, or neurodivergent identities. Many of my clients come to me exhausted, by masking, by systems that weren’t built for them, by finally getting a diagnosis and not knowing what to do with it. If that’s you, you’re in the right place. I specialise in working with late-diagnosed adults and women with ADHD, where the presentation is often tangled up with anxiety, burnout, emotional dysregulation, and long-standing patterns that CBT alone doesn’t always touch. I use schema-focused approaches alongside CBT and EMDR to work at that deeper level — not just managing symptoms, but understanding where they come from.I also have specific experience supporting people from Black and Minoritised Ethnic backgrounds, where cultural identity, intergenerational experience, and the added weight of navigating neurodivergent life as a person of colour are all part of the picture. That context isn’t a footnote in our work, it’s central to it. Therapy with me is collaborative, warm, and practically grounded. You’ll leave sessions with tools you can actually use, alongside a space where your full experience is respected and understood.

I originally trained as an integrative arts psychotherapist, so there is opportunity for those who would like to work with art and creativity within the sessions. This may include sandtray work, painting, drawing, using postcards and bodywork or using metaphor or images real or imagined. My work as a therapist is informed by many different approaches/theories which enables a more tailored fit for each client according to what they are bringing and wanting to work on. I draw from many psychotherapeutic theories such as humanistic, existential, attachment and psychodynamic. In more recent years I have been exploring and getting to know my own neurodivergence; I self identify as AuDHD, which has taken much of my work in this direction, so I tend to work mainly with neurodiverse clients. I am passionate about social justice issues and hold in mind how this may show up in the therapeutic space and affect the lives of clients outside in the world, and I won’t shy away from talking about politics in the therapy room! I really strive to be a safe person for all identities, races and cultures, and am particularly interested in people’s subjective experience primarily.I prefer working long term with clients as I like to give time for the therapy process to unfold and deepen, but I am able to offer short term therapy sessions too, all with regular reviews to see how the client is feeling about our work together, I am very open to feedback and will use the therapeutic relationship that is built as a bedrock of the work.I can offer both in person sessions and online sessions via zoom if more convinient or preferred. Sessions tend to be held on a weekly basis at the same time and day and I am able to offer fortnightly sessions too, when agreed that this rhythm can work well. Sessions are held for 50 minutes.I work with adults from 18 years old.

I’m a Chartered Clinical Psychologist based in South West London, working in person and online (world wide). I offer therapy to adults (predominantly women) and assessments of neurodivergence to both adults and children including PDA/EDA.My practice is neurodivergent-affirming, and grounded in deep respect for each person’s unique ways of being in the world. I am also developing a co-specialism in working with trauma and incorporate this lens as relevant.I have over 20 years experience in working with neurodivergence and a decade’s experience supporting clients in private practice through burnout, life transitions, identity exploration, and relational overwhelm. Many of the people I work with are late-identified autistic or ADHDers navigating masking, sensory sensitivity, and the emotional cost of long-term misattunement. I also support families where there are neurodivergent parents or children to navigate family life and where relevant, the education system. My approach is collaborative and led by curiosity using reflection and practical ideas and strategies where requested. I draw on relational, psychodynamic and somatic ideas to support clients in restoring agency, self-understanding, and a felt sense of safety. I offer some components associated with CBT but do not offer this as a stand alone therapy model.I also offer autism and ADHD assessments, supervision, and reflective spaces for professionals.I work with warmth, honesty, and psychological depth and welcome those who’ve felt unseen.

I’m Iris Varela, a clinical specialist trained in both the United States and the UK, with a master’s degree in social work. I am registered with Social Work England and am a trained CBT therapist (through King’s College) and supervisor (through University College London). I teach professionals at the Anna Freud National Centre for Children & Families at UCL, focusing on the intersection of neurodivergence and mental health, deliver autism assessments and I am a clinical supervisor at CAMHS. Additionally, I deliver supervision and teach school staff about the neurodivergent experience. For over 20 years, I have been passionate about working alongside neurodivergent individuals. As the evidence in our field has evolved, I have shifted away from the medical model and embraced the social model of disability. This means validating the experiences of neurodivergent people and working systemically to change the stigma surrounding neurodivergence, as well as advocating for the adaptations needed to achieve equal access to education, work and services. I am excited to prioritise and listen to the voices of neurodivergent people, allowing them to guide my practice and create a safer space for them. To make sure I deliver the best support, I receive supervision from an experienced, published, autistic professional, as well as attending reflective spaces delivered by the autistic community.I’m committed to providing supportive care, understanding your unique individual needs, and helping others understand how to best support you.
