I’m a neuropositive coach and educator supporting young people and adults who think differently to better understand themselves, recognise their strengths and find practical ways forward.I have more than 15 years’ experience across further and higher education and have worked with young people whose experiences of education haven’t always been straightforward. I now support young people navigating neurodivergence, school, study, overwhelm and the pressures around them, as well as parents when education isn’t working for their child. My own path has also been unconventional. I left school at 13, later returned to education and completed a BA and MA before building my career in education. An adult ADHD diagnosis helped me understand many of my experiences from a kinder perspective and was an important part of my decision to become a coach.I also coach neurodivergent adults around areas including overwhelm, executive functioning, confidence, work and life transitions, planning and self-understanding. My approach is collaborative, strengths-based and non-judgemental — finding approaches that fit the individual rather than expecting the individual to fit the system.

Hello there, I’m Georgia, a neurodivergent counsellor based in Brighton, offering online and in-person counselling. I hold a kind, warm space for women and non-binary adults to explore what matters to them. I often work with neurodivergent people navigating overwhelm, trauma, identity, or seeking space to reconnect with themselves. My approach is gentle, collaborative, and rooted in deep respect for your unique way of being. Together, we can explore what’s going on beneath the surface, at your pace. Whether you’re late-diagnosed, self-identified, or exploring the possibility of neurodivergence, you’re welcome here.I draw from a humanistic integrative framework, meaning I tailor our work to you rather than fitting you into a set method. With my lived experience, I offer an affirming space where you don’t have to mask or explain yourself. You’re welcome to show up exactly as you are, with stimming, tangents, or uncertainty, and we’ll make room for all of it.Above all, I’m here to provide a space where you feel safe enough to be real, to soften, to speak, to feel, to not know, and be met with care every step of the way. If you’d like to learn more about how I work, you’re welcome to visit my website or get in touch. I offer an initial session at a reduced rate so we can take our time exploring how we might work together in a gentle and non-pressured way. I’d love to hear from you.

I am a Clinical Psychologist and have worked in the NHS in various roles for over 15 years. More recently, I have taken a break from clinical work to grow and nurture my young family. Prior to this, I worked with children and adolescents, their caregivers, families and the systems around them. I have also worked with adults experiencing a broad range of difficulties such as significant mental health challenges, neurodiversity, physical health conditions, and major life transitions. I love working with young people and the systems around them to help them move through difficult life experiences. I do so with compassion, creativity and curiosity and by developing a shared understanding of the problems the young person and family are facing. Together we look for stories that affirm the strengths and resilience of the young person or family while also drawing on various evidence based techniques that build up skills that might help guide them through adversity. I particularly love working with neurodivergent young people and adults, exploring together how they experience the world. I work predominantly from a trauma-informed perspective and a lot of my work with neurodivergent families focusses on the parent-child relationship. I draw on a broad range of models in my therapeutic work including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Compassion Focussed Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Psychodynamic psychotherapy, attachment-based therapies and more holistic approaches that look at how the mind and body interact and how to support the nervous system.
