Psychology graduate Experienced educator Certified ADHD Practitioner (Neurodiversity Training Academy) Currently undertaking Coaching and Advanced Coaching certifications with the Neurodiversity Training Academy (ICF accredited course)Over a decade working with neurodivergent young adults and colleagues, and my own experience of late diagnosis, have shaped an approach that is:Practical: you need someone who understands, but who can also help you to actually work with your unique needs, strengths, and challenges Evidence-based: anti-pseudoscience and generic ‘hacks’; pro-tailored, research-led practice Informed by personal and professional experience: lived experience is key, but my experience will be different from yours; coaching is about youThroughout my career as an A Level Psychology teacher, I observed consistent patterns in the students I worked with. The strategies and systems we defaulted to, however well-intentioned, often failed to account for the realities of working memory, cognitive load, external factors, and emotional regulation. For neurodivergent learners in particular, standard approaches frequently added to confusion and stress rather than reducing it.When I adjusted the approach to fit how a student actually processed information: prioritising clarity, scaffolding, and structure, the impact was direct and meaningful. Seeing that effect consistently, across students and contexts, made clear that these principles had value well beyond the classroom, prompting me to undertake adult specific training with the Neurodiversity Training Academy. The challenges of working as a neurodivergent educator gave me insight into the world of reasonable adjustments, Access to Work, and how occupational challenges require an understanding of the nature of the work, not just the workplace itself. My approach is grounded in evidence: drawing on research into executive function, cognitive load, and neurodivergent experience, and practised with compassion.I don’t offer generic productivity ‘hacks’ or neurotypical strategies repackaged for neurodivergent brains.Instead, we work together to understand how you actually function, identify what is getting in the way, and build practical systems and structures that work with your brain rather than against it.

Hi, I’m Katie – a neuroinclusion coach, and AuDHD myself.I work with neurodivergent adults who look sorted on paper and feel like they’re holding it together with sticky tape and adrenaline. People who’ve read the books, tried every app, reflected endlessly – and still find the simple stuff (emails, admin, getting started) takes far more out of them than it seems like it should. If you’ve ever thought “I’m smart and I’m trying so hard, so what’s wrong with me?” – my answer is almost always: nothing’s wrong with you. It’s your systems. And hacks don’t help solve that; for a system that works we’ve got to understand your specific brain, tools and circumstances. Luckily I’m a nerd and anthropologist by training who LOVES getting granular :pMy main offering is the Mind Manual Programme: six sessions where we build a personalised ‘recipe book’ for your unique brain. Not a generic curriculum – a living document, full of the specific tools, patterns and strategies that actually work for you, which you keep and build on for years. Think of it like a well-loved cookbook that falls open at the pages you need most.Every goal we set is an experiment, never a test. If something doesn’t work, that’s not failure – it’s useful data about your brain. There’s no shame here, no masking, and no pretending to be someone you’re not.I coach with warmth, humour, and a deep respect for how genuinely hard this can be – alongside proper rigour and training. I won’t hand you neurotypical advice dressed up as inclusion. I won’t judge if you dial in in your PJs or call from your car. I’ll help you understand your own brain well enough to work with it instead of fighting it.Qualifications: ILM Level 5 in Coaching and Mentoring, EMCC registered, with further qualifications in Specific Learning Difficulties, Autism in Adults, and TEAM-CBT. All sessions are online, so we can work together wherever you are.Curious? Have a look at katieleefe.com, or get in touch for a starter call. I’d love to meet you.

Well Life Clinic was founded by senior GPs. We first launched our ADHD service with Surrey and Borders Partnership to help clear the NHS wait list and have been cited by the national ADHD task force as a model of choice, proudly featuring on BBC breakfast. This is due to quality, standardisation and local integration, alongside a local upskilling of the workforce. We are now rolling out our service nationally to better support patients, clinicians and the NHS.We now offer Adult ADHD Assessments through the NHS Right to Choose pathway. At no cost to the patient, we offer virtual appointments with one of the shortest wait times in the UK. Our end-to-end care covers assessment and diagnosis to ongoing medication management.
