Hello, I’m Lola, a HCPC-registered Art Psychotherapist and a neurodivergent practitioner based in South West London.I offer creative, relational and neurodivergent-affirming Art Psychotherapy for children, young people and adults. My practice is grounded in the belief that therapy should adapt to the individual, rather than expecting people to adapt to therapy.I work collaboratively with autistic, ADHD, AuDHD and other neurodivergent people, as well as those exploring neurodivergence or receiving a diagnosis later in life. I also support people experiencing anxiety, burnout, masking, emotional regulation difficulties, trauma, disability, identity exploration and life transitions.Art Therapy does not rely solely on talking. Sessions can include creative materials, visual expression, sensory exploration, movement, reflection or conversation, depending on what feels most comfortable and accessible for you. There is no expectation to be artistic or to communicate in any particular way.My approach is trauma-informed, relational and psychodynamically informed, while remaining flexible to each person’s communication style, sensory preferences and lived experience. I aim to create a space where people feel genuinely welcomed, understood and accepted, without pressure to mask, perform or change who they are.Alongside my clinical work, I have experience working within specialist educational settings supporting autistic young people with complex communication, sensory and emotional needs. I continue to develop my practice through ongoing training in neurodiversity-affirming therapy, trauma-informed practice and autistic wellbeing.Sessions are available online throughout the UK, with home visits available within South West London where appropriate. Therapy is offered in English, French and Italian.

I am an HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist and Chartered Psychologist (BPS), working with adults experiencing the long-term effects of trauma, relational difficulties, emotional overwhelm, and persistent patterns that feel difficult to understand or change. I also offer a lower-cost first-step Adult ADHD Initial Consultation for a £50 fee, which is fully deducted from the £950.00 assessment fee if you subsequently proceed with an Adult ADHD Assessment to get a full diagnosis. I also provide psychological assessment to develop a clearer understanding of an individual’s psychological needs and inform appropriate recommendations. Many of the people I work with are outwardly functioning but internally struggling with anxiety, emotional intensity, self-criticism, or a sense of being disconnected from themselves or others. These difficulties often have roots in earlier relational or developmental experiences that continue to shape present-day responses. I specialise in working with adults with ADHD, autistic traits, and broader neurodivergent presentations, particularly where these intersect with burnout, emotional regulation difficulties, and identity-related challenges. My approach is formulation-led and integrative, focusing on understanding how your internal world has been formed over time, and how unconscious patterns may be influencing your current emotional and relational life. Rather than focusing solely on symptom reduction, we work toward building insight, emotional integration, and meaningful psychological change.I founded Totality Psychology to create a space where individuals can move beyond surface-level coping and develop a deeper understanding of themselves as a whole in context.

I am a Maudsley‑trained consultant psychiatrist and DIT psychotherapist based in London. I offer focused, insight‑oriented therapy for stress, anxiety, depression, burnout and relationship difficulties. My work is autism‑affirming and non‑pathologising, with clear communication, steady pacing and a therapeutic space that feels inclusive and supportive. It is informed by both professional experience and personal understanding of autism. I value each client’s unique communication style and lived experience, fully embracing autism as a valid neurotype.I provide Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT), an evidence‑based psychodynamic therapy recommended by NICE for depression. DIT is typically a 16 session model, offering a focused and time‑limited framework, with scope to extend if needed. It helps you understand how past experiences and relational patterns shape current emotional distress, supporting healthier ways of relating and coping. I completed my DIT training at the Anna Freud Centre. Many people come to me when they feel stuck in repeating emotional or relational patterns, or when previous approaches have not reached the root of their distress. My background as a psychiatrist means the work is careful, thoughtful and grounded in a thorough understanding of mental health. It allows me to bring a level of rigour and depth that supports clients to make sense of complex emotional patterns without feeling pathologised. I offer a clear, in depth, compassionate formulation and a structured therapeutic process that supports meaningful, lasting change.I work regularly with autistic adults and offer therapy that is adapted to autistic communication and processing styles. Sessions are structured and collaborative, where clients feel safe and comfortable exploring various areas such as identity, masking, overwhelm, autistic burnout, relationships, workplace challenges and the impact of past misunderstanding or invalidation. Therapy is tailored to each client’s needs, with shared decision‑making and a pace that feels manageable and supportive.I welcome and support autistic adults at all stages of their journey; whether newly diagnosed, self‑identified, exploring the possibility of autism, or diagnosed many years ago and seeking a space to understand themselves more fully. Sessions are available online across the UK and in person in Blackheath Village, London. Please note that in this setting I offer psychotherapy only and do not provide medical assessments or medication treatment.

Carrie Young: Co-Founder and Clinical Director of NeuroAxisAs a dedicated ADHD specialist and the co-founder and Clinical Director of NeuroAxis, I have spent over 18 years in the healthcare field. This diverse background equips me with a unique, well-rounded perspective to support individuals navigating the challenges of ADHD. My journey as a qualified nurse, specialist public health nurse, and nurse prescriber—combined with my MSc in Public Health—drives my deeply rooted commitment to delivering the highest quality of care.Throughout my career, I have worked across a broad spectrum of frontline roles, including Accident & Emergency, community nursing, and health visiting. Notably, my time working within a 0–19 years service allowed me to support school-aged children and collaborate closely with Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), deepening my understanding of youth developmental milestones and challenges. Later, while working in substance misuse services, I noticed a striking, recurring theme: so many of my patients were secretly struggling with undiagnosed ADHD. This powerful realization sparked my passion, prompting me to specialize deeply in this field.Today, I am a trained ADHD specialist, proficient in utilizing the DIVA and DSM-5 criteria to conduct comprehensive assessments for individuals aged 6 to 65. Beyond diagnostics, I provide personalized ADHD coaching to empower clients to manage their symptoms and build actionable strategies for success. I also specialize in producing workplace adjustment reports, helping businesses thrive by ensuring their neurodiverse employees receive the right support to excel.By blending evidence-based practice with motivational interviewing techniques and compassionate care, my goal is to ensure NeuroAxis remains a leading, trusted resource. I am incredibly proud to offer the personalized, empowering support our clients need to truly thrive in their daily lives.

Heathwell Therapies is a specialist counselling and psychotherapy clinic based in Blackheath, London, offering therapy and coaching both in person and online across the UK.We have a strong focus on neurodiversity and work with adults and couples affected by ADHD, autism, and related neurodevelopmental differences. Our therapists support clients with challenges including emotional regulation, burnout, executive functioning difficulties, masking, anxiety, self-esteem, workplace stress, and relationship difficulties. One of our particular areas of expertise is working with neurodiverse and mixed-neurotype couples. We support couples where one or both partners are autistic, have ADHD, or identify as neurodivergent, helping them navigate differences in communication, emotional expression, intimacy, conflict, household responsibilities, and family life. Our therapists understand that many relationship difficulties arise not from a lack of care or commitment, but from differences in how partners experience, interpret, and respond to the world around them.Alongside counselling and psychotherapy, we offer ADHD-focused coaching and practical support for clients who are looking to improve organisation, motivation, time management, productivity, and day-to-day functioning. Our clinicians come from a range of therapeutic backgrounds and have extensive experience supporting neurodivergent clients. We take care to match each individual or couple with a therapist whose expertise and approach best fit their needs, recognising that neurodiversity presents differently from person to person and from relationship to relationship.Appointments are available online and in person from our Blackheath clinic, with flexible appointment times.

You might have arrived here after a recent diagnosis, or perhaps you’re starting to wonder whether neurodivergence could help explain things you’ve been experiencing for a long time. Many people I work with describe a mix of relief, confusion, and overwhelm at this stage. You might be rethinking your past, noticing patterns more clearly, or questioning how you’ve been coping up until now. You may also feel tired from masking, unsure of who you are underneath it, or uncertain about what support would actually help.I’m a Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years’ experience working across NHS and independent settings. I have a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from University College London, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. Alongside my broader clinical work, I have a longstanding interest in and extensive experience of supporting neurodivergent adults, including autistic adults and people with ADHD or dyslexia. In therapy, I aim to offer a space that feels calm, respectful, and adapted to you. That might mean going at a slower pace, being flexible in how we communicate, or thinking together about what makes therapy feel accessible and useful for you. There’s no expectation to present yourself in a particular way.We might work together to:– Make sense of your diagnosis or self-understanding – Explore identity, masking, and what feels authentic to you – Understand burnout, overwhelm, or shutdown – Find ways of managing day-to-day demands more sustainably – Build self-compassion and reduce self-criticism – Process past traumaI also have a specialist interest in perimenopause and menopause, and how hormonal changes can intersect with neurodivergence. For some people, this stage of life can bring a noticeable shift in attention, sensory sensitivity, emotional regulation, or capacity to cope with everyday demands. Difficulties that were previously manageable can start to feel overwhelming, and in some cases this is the point at which people begin to question whether they may be neurodivergent. I aim to support you in making sense of these changes in a way that feels grounded, informed, and compassionate. My approach is collaborative and integrative. I draw on a wide range of therapeutic models, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches, tailoring therapy to meet your particular needs, goals and preferences.Alongside my neurodiversity-focused work, I also have extensive experience supporting people with anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, low self-esteem, grief, insomnia, and life transitions. This broader background can be helpful when difficulties overlap or feel complex.Starting therapy, especially if you’ve spent a long time feeling misunderstood, can feel like a big step. My aim is to offer a space where you can feel safe and heard, and where we can gradually build a shared understanding of what’s going on for you and what might help.
