Spectrum Sisters – Autism & ADHD Assessments for Women & Girls
Spectrum Sisters is a specialist, female-led neurodiversity service providing comprehensive autism, ADHD and combined autism/ADHD diagnostic assessments for women and girls across the UK from age 6+.
We specialise in the female presentation of autism and ADHD, particularly late diagnosis, high masking and women and girls whose difficulties may previously have been missed or misunderstood. Our team is Psychologist-led, neurodivergent and brings both professional expertise and lived experience to the assessment process.
Assessments are completed by a multidisciplinary team of qualified clinicians and follow NICE guidance and DSM-5 diagnostic criteria. We take a thorough, whole-person approach, looking beyond diagnostic criteria to understand masking, sensory differences, executive functioning, mental health, relationships, education, employment and everyday life. We consider co-occuring and differential diagnoses.
We also provide post-diagnostic support, including neurodivergent-affirming support, coaching, sensory and functional assessments, educational support and workplace recommendations.
Our aim is to provide women and girls with more than a diagnosis: a meaningful understanding of themselves, their strengths, their needs and the support that can help them move forward. Each assessment includes a minimum of three clinicians and each report includes a full neurodiversity profile, functional assessment and recommendations.
