A safe, validating space that celebrates neurodiversity. Welcome to Attune Psychology & Coaching
Hello, and a very warm welcome to our practice. We are Dr Zoe Knight and Amy O’Gorman, the Clinical Directors at Attune Psychology & Coaching. Operating from our peaceful, deeply compassionate, and sensory-friendly clinic room in West Hampstead (NW6) and securely online across the UK, we provide specialist therapy, personal growth coaching, and gold-standard neurodevelopmental assessments.
We provide a validating, supportive space that openly honours and celebrates neurodiversity. We never view Autism, ADHD, or AuDHD as “deficits to be fixed” or problems to be cured. Instead, our multi-disciplinary team collaborates with you as a true partner to unlock your natural strengths, comfortably navigate modern environmental barriers, reduce masking exhaustion, and build tailored strategies for long-term well-being and authenticity.
Our Multi-Disciplinary Team: Who We Help
To help you and your family find the right specialized support immediately without experiencing choice paralysis or cognitive overload, our practice structures care cleanly across two core areas:
1. Adults, Couples & Personal Coaching – Led by Dr Zoe Knight
Dr Zoe Knight is an HCPC-registered and BPS-chartered Consultant Counselling Psychologist and an EMCC-accredited Personal Coach. She specializes in adult anxiety, depression, complex trauma (C-PTSD), and relationship dynamics. Dr Knight provides deeply neuroaffirmative adult therapy and psychologically grounded personal life-transition coaching. She works gently alongside you to help you untangle overlapping emotional struggles, safely manage chronic workplace burnout, unpack a late-stage diagnosis, and confidently navigate social or career challenges on your own terms.
2. Children, Young People & Parents – Led by Amy O’Gorman
Amy O’Gorman is a specialized Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist, an NMC-registered Nurse Consultant, and a Royal College of Nursing (RCN) Member. She provides strengths-based child therapy and systemic family support. Amy focuses heavily on childhood emotional regulation, school anxiety and school phobia, sensory processing differences, and collaborative parent guidance. She works closely with parents to implement practical behavioural strategies that reduce domestic conflict and help families build calm, supportive, and predictable home environments.
Holistic Gold-Standard Neurodevelopmental Assessments
We deliver formal, NICE guideline-compliant diagnostic assessment packages for children, adolescents, and adults. Because we manage our multidisciplinary team (MDT) internally, we provide comprehensive pre-assessment guidance and post-diagnostic therapeutic support with immediate clinic availability and no lengthy waiting lists. Our specialized diagnostic pathways include:
• Autism Spectrum Evaluations (ASD): Utilizing globally recognized, gold-standard clinical diagnostic tools including the ADOS-2 and ADI-R, integrated with structured developmental and milestone histories in a low-demand setting.
• ADHD Evaluations: Comprehensive behavioural, executive functioning, and cognitive mapping using the specialized DIVA-5 (for adults) and Young DIVA-5 (for children), seamlessly integrated with school observations, baseline screening metrics, and background history.
• Combined AuDHD Evaluations: A fully unified, dual-diagnosis assessment pathway specifically designed to map overlapping Autistic and ADHD traits simultaneously, reducing administrative stress and diagnostic fatigue for your family.
Our Therapeutic Frameworks: How We Work Practically
We firmly believe there is no “one size fits all” approach to mental health or personal growth. For our adult and couples clients, Dr Knight integrates advanced, evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to support the whole person, helping you make sense of overwhelming emotional storms, safely rewrite hidden childhood scripts, and build functional communication boundaries:
• Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
• Schema Therapy & Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
• Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
• Mentalisation-Based Treatment (MBT)
For families, children, and teens, Amy utilizes creative, collaborative, and low-demand clinical interventions that focus compassionately on the entire picture. Her approach incorporates school environment support, home routines, and sensory processing profiles so that parents feel fully equipped with practical, neurodivergent-affirming strategies that work naturally in everyday life.
