Hi I’m Tom. I am a therapist living with a diagnosed neurodiversity, and I’ve dedicated my practice to supporting other people in the neurodiverse (Autistic/ADHD) community. I know how important it is to feel understood and what it feels like to be misunderstood in a world built for neurotypicals. Because I’ve walked this path myself my lived experience helps me connect with clients in a way that feels genuine, compassionate, and relatable.
Neurodiversity brings unique strengths, but it also difficulties. Are you experiencing a heightened sensory experience, struggles with change, and the pressure of external expectations making life exhausting. As someone who shares many of the same experiences, I bring empathy into every session. My goal is to help you feel supported, valued, and empowered.
There are times where the pressures of life can leave us feeling overwhelmed with our thoughts and feelings. For many of us how we feel within ourselves is crucial in our day to day life. However you may be feeling, The therapeutic process can give us the ability to sculpt and create a vision of belonging that can help us to flourish.
My approach to therapy is a person centred approach that is a adapted to suit individuals on the autistic / ADHD spectrum. This is done by using the positive openness of a person centred approach that allows the freedom of all feelings to be explored and heard while providing a structure that allows the individual to feel secure and where they can work towards positive change.
