Biography
If you’re here, you might be facing challenges with sex, your body, or your relationship. You might be someone who feel things intensely, which makes relationships both deeply fulfilling and overwhelmingly complex. The difference you feel while powerful—can also feel isolating. As a sex therapist, I can help bring clarity to the confusion, enabling you to better understand yourself and enhance the quality of your sex life and relationships.
Sex therapy is a talking therapy designed to help resolve issues affecting your relationships, sex life, or both. As a sex therapist, I also consider the complex interplay between biological, psychological, and social factors that contribute to an individual’s overall health and well-being. If necessary, I will refer you to your GP or recommend a specialist to provide additional support.
After an initial consultation, we will begin with an in-depth assessment session. This session involves a thorough exploration of your personal history, including your life experiences, sexual and relationship history, and medical background.
Following the assessment, I will share my understanding of the issues and suggest a treatment plan or a starting point for therapy. For some people, therapy isn’t always a linear process, and our work may be more explorative as we uncover and address underlying patterns or challenges. This plan may also include practical exercises or tasks for you to work on between sessions.
I ask for a weekly commitment to sessions. Depending on progress and suitability, fortnightly sessions may be an option later in our work together.
My Approach
My approach to therapy is direct, intentional, and neurodivergent-affirming. I prioritise integrity, autonomy, and client safety, creating a space where you can explore your experiences without shame. I balance structure with flexibility, recognising that sex therapy often requires both clear guidance and space for reflection. My goal is to blend the two—offering practical support while allowing you the time and freedom to process and make sense of your experiences.
Education is also an important part of my work. I want to help you gain clarity about yourself and your experiences, whether that’s through exploring sensory health, sexual scripts, or the deeper patterns that shape your life. My goal is to support you in making informed, empowered choices while cultivating self-compassion along the way.
