Biography
I am an experienced Speech and Language Therapist who is passionate about supporting individuals with communication differences, specifically those differences associated with Neurodiversity. With over 15 years of experience, I have worked both in the NHS and private sector. I have supported neurodivergent individuals across the lifespan; from early adolescents to older adults.
I have an understanding of the challenges faced by Neurodivergent individuals, living in a Neurotypical world and whilst I approach my work with this in mind I don’t take for granted the knowledge and lived experience a person brings into the room – I put an emphasis on collaboration with the individual as an “expert” on themselves; empowering people to explore and own their unique strengths and differences.
I aim to work in a neuro-affirmative way, holistically approaching an individual within the context of their lives. I offer traditional SLT assessment and treatment alongside a coaching support.
I will accept Access to Work funding or self funding and am open to discussion re: rates, making support accessible to all
