I’m a neurodivergent, UK-based counsellor, psychotherapist, and clinical supervisor, offering a warm, collaborative, and authentic approach.
My work is neurodiversity‑affirming and trauma‑informed, grounded in a relational, Person‑Centred approach that honours you as the expert on your own life. My passion is in supporting neurodivergent – Autistic, ADHD, AuDHD and other neurodivergent identities, highly sensitive adults and families, and those experiencing grief, loss, or life transitions. I hold an MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy Practice (research-based, focused on understanding how to best work with neurodivergent people), I am EMDR trained, and I am an Accredited Member of the BACP.
I would describe the way I work as eclectic and this is a psychotherapy approach in which the therapist does not stick to a single “school” of therapy, but instead selects and combines techniques from several different models to suit the individual client and the specific issues they bring, drawing on a range of modalities, to include: Humanistic approaches such as Transactional Analysis, Compassion‑Focused Therapy, Person‑Centred, Solution‑Focussed Brief Therapy, Existential, and Gestalt. I may also incorporate a Psychodynamic approach and I also offer EMDR which is a trauma therapy. My work is also informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). I tend to work visually and creatively and I include psychoeducation in my work.
I began my counselling training in 2003 and have since worked in charities, within hospice care as the Counselling and Bereavement Lead; running the counselling service and supporting families and people at the end of life. I have also worked in education, first as a lecturer, and then for a leading awarding body, helping to uphold standards in counselling and psychotherapy. I have assessed and moderated counselling qualifications from levels 2 to 6. I now work in private practice as a Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor. I absolutely love my work and I see it as an honour and a privilege. Something I am immensely passionate about.
I am a Clinical Supervisor, and clinical supervision is a mandatory, formal, and regular arrangement where counsellors and psychotherapists review their client work with an experienced supervisor. It ensures ethical, safe, and effective practice by supporting practitioner well-being, enhancing skills, and maintaining professional standards. I have had the pleasure of supporting several of my supervisees to successfully achieve their BACP accreditation. I am also a mentor to counsellors developing a niche, newly qualified, or wanting support setting up their private practice.
My style is down-to-earth and I draw on creative, visual, and psychoeducational approaches to meet each person’s unique needs. Above all, I aim to provide a safe, accepting space where you can explore what matters most to you.
My Commitment to Equality, Diversity & Inclusion; I value diversity in all its forms. I was raised in a neurodivergent, mixed heritage family in London, United Kingdom. I strive to ensure non-discrimination and inclusivity. I am neurodiversity and LGBTQ+ affirming and I am anti-racist. I acknowledge the places where I hold privilege, power, and biases and I am committed to working on these. I am also committed to on going learning, continued professional development, training and clinical supervision to continue to grow and develop as a practitioner and human being. I warmly welcome you exactly as you are, whatever your background, identity, or story. My practice is a safe, affirming space for everyone, and I’m passionate about making therapy accessible and meaningful for all. I actively challenge racism and prejudice in all forms, celebrate LGBTQI+ journeys with full inclusion, and prioritise disability access (including neurodivergence) through flexible adaptations like sensory-friendly sessions. Your experiences of culture, race, faith, religion/belief, spirituality, gender, sex, and sexual orientation, class, age, disability shape who you are, and I honour them through trauma-informed, person-centred care. I’m always learning, reflecting, and growing to ensure my practice stays compassionate, ethical, and truly inclusive.
My practice is open globally for neurodiversity affirmative counselling, psychotherapy, EMDR, training, mentoring and supervision. I specialise in working with neurodivergent adults; autistic, ADHD, AuDHD, Highly Sensitive people and other neurotypes who are navigating burnout, trauma, masking, overwhelm, and late diagnosis.
I offer a space where you can feel deeply listened to and understood. Together, we take time to gently tune in to your experiences and explore what they might be showing or asking of you. Often, this process brings moments of clarity or insight that can open the way towards new ways of being.
My work is neurodiversity affirming and adapted to how neurodivergent brains work. Rather than giving advice or directing your choices, my role is to offer a space for open, honest reflections and a space where your feelings, thoughts, and ideas can be met with curiosity and compassion, with a compassion focussed approach.
My Approach
Three core principles that guide my work with neurodivergent clients:
1) Neurodiversity Affirmative
Celebrating your neurotype as a natural variation, not something to fix or mask.
2) Trauma Informed
Creating safety and choice at every step, moving at your pace with deep understanding.
3) Nervous System Regulation
Learning to understand and support your nervous system with practical, sensory-friendly strategies.
I work with neurodivergent adults navigating a range of challenges. Whether you’re experiencing burnout, exploring your identity, or processing trauma, I’m here to support you.
