I am a neurodivergent therapist and coach specialising in supporting those with ADHD. I bring over 10 years of experience working in frontline mental health services in the NHS, Youth Justice, Social Care and Education.
As a therapist and coach, I take a integrative approach in working with clients. This includes utilising an executive function framework alongside solution-focused and strength-based practice, looking at systems and support, as well as CBT and DBT informed principles to target negative thought patterns and self-criticism. I am particularly interested in the link between ADHD and Anxiety, as well as the impact on interpersonal relationships.
I support both young people and adults, including parents and carers of neurodivergent children.
My approach is to support my clients to identify their strengths alongside their needs so that these can be gradually developed and utilised to promote a holistic approach to develop and maintain wellbeing long-term.
I trained in the US as a clinical social worker, which is psychotherapeutic training, and have continued to train and develop in my practice over the years. More recently, I completed a certificate in ADHD coaching, and have continued my journey in coaching development by undertaking the ADHD-informed coaching programme with Gold Mind Academy.
