Hi, I’m Katrin, a qualified counsellor based in Newcastle upon Tyne. I offer a warm, friendly and neurodiversity-affirming space where you can be yourself, talk openly, feel at ease and begin to make sense of what’s going on for you.
Sometimes life can feel more like surviving than living. You might be feeling overwhelmed, exhausted by everyday life, struggling with anxiety or burnout, masking at work or finding relationships difficult to navigate. Perhaps you’re going through a change or loss, or have spent a long time trying to meet other people’s expectations.
You might be questioning who you are, where you fit and what feels right for you.
I support people exploring what neurodivergence means for them, including autism, ADHD or AuDHD. I also welcome neurotypical people and anyone wondering whether they may be neurodivergent.
I work in a person-centred, integrative and relational way, adapting to what feels most helpful for you.Â
When we work together, I’ll listen carefully to what’s on your mind and offer questions and reflections when they feel helpful. There’s space to talk, think and explore what matters to you, and where helpful, how this fits into your life.Â
Support is available online, by phone, and as walk-and-talks in Leazes Park.
I offer a free 10-minute phone call to talk about whats been going on for you and answer any questions you may have. Payment is by bank transfer before each session. I’m available Monday to Friday, between 8am and 5pm.
Counselling can help you reconnect with yourself, rediscover what matters to you and develop greater self-compassion.
You don’t have to know exactly where you’re going before you begin.
Together, we can explore what feels right for you, at your own pace, with your thoughts and feedback always welcome.
Whatever you’re facing, let’s talk.
If you’d like to arrange an appointment, please get in touch.
I look forward to connecting with you!
