Biography
I am a HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist and the founder of Percuro Psychology, a specialist psychology practice supporting children, adolescents, and their families. My work is grounded in a neuroaffirming, evidence-based approach that prioritises understanding, compassion, and practical support over labels alone.
I offer multi-disciplinary autism and ADHD assessments for children and young people, including combined assessments where appropriate. Assessments are comprehensive, NICE-aligned, and strengths-led, drawing on multiple sources of information (parents, school, and the young person) to build a clear and meaningful understanding of each child’s profile. My reports focus not only on diagnostic conclusions, but on what this means in everyday life and how best to support the child across home, school, and social settings.
Alongside assessment, I offer post-diagnostic support, parent consultation, and therapeutic work, particularly where neurodivergence intersects with anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, school-based distress, or emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA). I have a particular interest in adolescence, recognising this as a developmental stage where neurodivergent young people often experience increased pressure, masking, and emotional overwhelm.
A core part of my work is supporting parents and carers, helping them feel confident, informed, and emotionally supported as they navigate their child’s needs. I believe that when parents feel grounded and understood, they are better able to support their child’s wellbeing and development.
I work collaboratively, transparently, and with deep respect for neurodiversity. My aim is always to help families move forward with clarity, confidence, and a stronger sense of connection—both with their child and with themselves.
